The No. 43 player in the state of North Carolina, Frazier, a standout at Hough High School, received offers from programs such as Appalachian State, Charlotte, Duke, Michigan, North Carolina, and West Virginia. Clemson, South Carolina and Virginia Tech were among other schools showing interest.
In the end, though, the Wolfpack were the team to get his pledge on Wednesday, after he took an unofficial visit during the program’s spring game on Saturday.
“I like the environment, academics, coaches and fans at NC State,” Frazier told 247Sports. “When I visited, they showed me a lot of love and kept it real with me.”
Frazier recorded 98 tackles, 5.0 tackles for a loss, 2.0 sacks and 1 interception during his junior season in 2017. He was also active in Hough’s return game.
N.C. State now has four commitments from the class of 2019.
