Sacha Killeya-Jones is coming home. Just not to the school he grew up down the road from. The Kentucky forward announced that he will transfer to NC State on Tuesday via Twitter.

Killeya-Jones chose NC State over Pitt, Wake Forest, Arizona State, Nevada, Clemson, Georgetown, Notre Dame and Texas. North Carolina was also in on the Chapel Hill, N.C., native before backing off of its recruitment Sunday.
He will sit out a year and has two years of eligibility remaining.
The former 5-star prospect saw inconsistent minutes with Kentucky. In his two years with the Wildcats, he averaged 3.2 points and 2.7 rebounds in 11.7 minutes per game. He arrived in Lexington, Ky., as the seventh-best power forward and 23rd overall player in the Class of 2016, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
Killeya-Jones adds to a frontcourt that already features junior center Omer Yurtseven and junior forward Darius Hicks. That trio will be joined by four incoming freshmen, highlighted by 4-star center Immanuel Bates and 4-star small forward Saddiq Bey.
