Former North Carolina quarterback Mitch Trubisky is officially a Chicago Bear.
The team announced Wednesday that it had signed the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. According to the Chicago Tribune, the deal is worth $29 million over four years and includes a signing bonus of about $19 million. The deal also carries a fifth-year team option.

The Bears traded up to the No. 2 pick to take Trubisky, who started only one season for North Carolina. He threw for 30 touchdowns and 3,748 yards and completed 68 percent of his passes. His passing yardage and touchdown passes set a new North Carolina record, as did his 4,056 yards of total offense.
