Troy Pride Jr. is one of the fastest players on the Notre Dame football team. On Saturday, he also proved that he is one of the fastest athletes in the ACC.
The junior cornerback finished seventh in the 100-meter final at the ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a time of 10.56 seconds.

The Greer, S.C., native also posted personal bests in the 60-meter (6.73 seconds) and 200-meter (21.38) races during the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships in February.
Pride ranked as the 23rd-best cornerback and 249th overall player in the Class of 2016, according to the 247Sports composite rankings, when he joined the Fighting Irish. In two seasons, he has played in 20 games and utilized his speed in coverage and on special teams.
Last season, Pride recorded 22 tackles, 3 passes defensed and an interception. He logged 5 tackles and 2 pass breakups in the Blue-Gold Game on April 21.
