Justice Hill is named to preseason All-American teams by Athlon

Welcome to the Wednesday edition of our Oklahoma State DieHards morning roundup, where we take you through the biggest headlines around Oklahoma State athletics.

Justice Hill named preseason All-American

Oklahoma State running back Justice Hill was the Cowboys’ lone representative on Athlon Sports’ 2018 preseason All-America list. Hill earned third-team honors as an all-purpose back behind Washington’s Myles Gaskin and Georgia’s D’Andre Swift.

Hill rattled off 1,467 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns as a sophomore last season. He could rush for more, however, as the focal point of Oklahoma State’s 2018 offense. The Cowboys’ passing game might take a step back after the departure of Mason Rudolph.

Antonio Brown praises ex-Cowboys duo

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown is a fan of former Oklahoma State duo Rudolph and James Washington.

Brown told Steelers Wire: “They take it serious, they want to work hard, they got the knack for wanting to be great. So, when you see young guys like that, you know they’re going to be special in this league.”

Those kind words should mean a lot coming from an All-Pro receiver. Although, Brown, who is a Central Michigan alumnus, apparently likes to joke with Rudolph and Washington about the Chippewas’ controversial win over the Cowboys in 2016.

Still, it seems like the former Oklahoma State stars are making a good impression on their teammates.
