Welcome to the Monday edition of our Oklahoma State DieHards morning roundup, where we take you through the biggest headlines around Oklahoma State athletics.

Oklahoma State lands former Xavier commit

Oklahoma State men’s basketball seems to have its answer for the loss of Yankuba Sima.

Former Xavier commit and 3-star center Kentrevious Jones committed to the Cowboys over the weekend. Jones is listed at 6-foot-10, 285 pounds, replenishing Oklahoma State’s size after Sima unexpectedly decided to pursue professional basketball.

Jones originally committed to Xavier as part of its 2017 class. Academic issues prevented him from joining the Musketeers, but Jones will get his chance to play Division I basketball after spending a year at a prep school in North Carolina.

Mike Boynton trolls Oklahoma fans on Twitter

Oklahoma fans aren’t happy with Cowboys coach Mike Boynton.

It began with this tweet.

Boynton’s mentions are filled with unhappy Oklahoma fans, because he used the same emoji Oklahoma football coach Lincoln Riley typically uses to announcement a commitment. Riley, of course, doesn’t have any ownership over the emoji, but Boynton played it well.
