Oklahoma State outfielders Jon Littell and Carson McCusker both received Big 12 weekly honors on Monday after the Cowboys went a perfect 4-0 last week on the baseball diamond.
Littell was named the Big 12 Player of the Week after going 9 for 15 at the plate with five extra-base hits. Littell, a senior, recorded 2 triples and 3 doubles across the four games and batted .727 across the Cowboys’ three-game sweep of No. 18 TCU over the weekend in Stillwater, Okla.
McCusker earned Big 12 Newcomer of the Week honors after homering 3 times in the series vs. the Horned Frogs, further adding to Oklahoma State’s impressive resume for the week. Two of the three home runs came in the same game, making McCusker the first Cowboys player to accomplish that feat in the 2018 season.

Oklahoma State is now 15-10-1 overall on the season. The Cowboys resume play at Wichita State on Wednesday, a game that was pushed back a day from Tuesday due to the potential for inclement weather.
