On Wednesday afternoon, Oklahoma State Cowboys coach Mike Boynton announced that Davon Dillard and Zack Dawson are no longer a part of the program, according to a report from Mark Cooper of the Tulsa World.
Per the report, Dillard and Dawson ‘failed to meet the standards of Cowboy basketball.’

Dawson, a 4-star freshman from Miami, arrived at Oklahoma State as the headliner of the Cowboys 2017 class. Dawson was averaging 4.4 points and 1.6 assists in 10 minutes per game.
Dillard, a junior, was averaging 4.3 points and 1.3 rebounds each time out in 8.3 minutes per game.
Now without Dawson and Dillard in the rotation, 7-2 Oklahoma State will be back in action on Saturday against No. 19 Florida State.
