Oklahoma State schedules 2018 game vs. Nebraska

Oklahoma State men’s basketball announced a 2018 game with former Big Eight/Big 12 foe Nebraska on Thursday. The Cowboys and Cornhuskers will meet at Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D., on Dec. 16, according to a release.

“We are excited to re-engage with an old conference opponent in such a great venue,” coach Mike Boynton said in a release. “Nebraska has a strong basketball program and coach [Tim] Miles has done great work in the last few seasons of re-establishing high expectations in Lincoln. We appreciate the Sanford Pentagon group for working with us to make this happen and are looking forward to competing.”

Oklahoma State and Nebraska’s 2018 nonconference clash will be the first between the schools since the 2010-11 season. Nebraska leads the all-time series 63-54.

Mike Gundy sets social media on fire

Most fans assume it was Gundy’s response to recent comments from Oklahoma State athletic director Mike Holder regarding the football program’s lack of recruiting success.
