Oklahoma State picked up its 17th commitment for 2018 on Monday with 3-star cornerback JayVeon Cardwell.
The Cibolo (Texas) Steele defensive back announced his decision on Twitter. He’s the No. 84-ranked corner in the country and the No. 136-ranked player in Texas, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Head coach Mike Gundy was extremely excited about the news.

The Cowboys offered Cardwell on April 26. It was one of a few notable offers for him this spring, including Colorado, Duke, Houston and Ole Miss.
Oklahoma State now has the No. 14-ranked class in the country and the No. 3 class in the Big 12, according to the 247Sports Composite.
