FRISCO, Texas – Oklahoma State punter Zach Sinor took it back to 1997 to make his opening statement for Heisman candidacy. He launched a website – sinor4heisman.com – that looks right out of the early days of the internet.

While he might not have a shot at winning the game’s ultimate honor, his numbers are legitimately impressive.
He noted that 63 percent of his punts were downed inside the 20-yard line, which is best in America. Sinor’s punts also rank No. 1 nationally in opponent starting field position. He was named a Ray Guy semifinalist last year – his sights are set much higher in 2017.
Sinor earned complimentary quotes from defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer and quarterback Mason Rudolph. He also notes that animals love him, because of course.
