2018 prospect Jason Taylor II is staying in his home state, as the safety committed to Oklahoma State on Friday night in a segment airing on Oklahoma City’s NBC affiliate KFOR.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound Taylor, an Oklahoma City native who is unranked per 247Sports’ composite rankings, had narrowed his choices to Oklahoma State, Tulsa and SMU.

“I really came to the decision because it was the best fit for me,” Taylor said, per KFOR. “It just feel like I could see myself there.”

Taylor is ranked 15th in The Oklahoman’s Super 30 Recruit Rankings for 2018. You can view Taylor’s highlights from Carl Albert High School in Oklahoma City below.

Taylor is the 18th player to commit to the Cowboys’ 2018 class, which now ranks 25th nationally and fifth among Big 12 teams.
