Baker Mayfield is called a ‘6-foot jerk’ by anonymous NFL GM
Baker Mayfield seems to have rubbed an NFL general manager the wrong way.
During a SportsCenter segment on Wednesday, ESPN NFL reporter Adam Schefter said an NFL general manager referred to Mayfield as “that 6-foot jerk.” Another general manager said Mayfield was the “best quarterback in the draft.”
The insult is more likely to catch Mayfield’s attention.
ESPN's Adam Schefter said he just spoke to two NFL GM's on Mayfield. One said he was the "best QB in the draft" and the other called him, "that 6 foot jerk."

Fans and media pundits heavily criticized Mayfield for his off-the-field antics during his college career.
The former Sooner grabbed his crotch and yelled expletives at Kansas players during a game. He mouthed off to Baylor players, saying he was their “daddy,” in pregame warmups. Mayfield also planted a flag at the 50-yard line at Ohio State’s home venue after beating the Buckeyes.
And that was just what he did during the 2017 season.
Mayfield’s draft stock isn’t hurting, because of his fiery nature on and off the field. Several mock drafts still expect Mayfield to be one of the first quarterbacks taken in the 2018 NFL Draft.
But it’s apparent Mayfield’s brand of football isn’t for everyone, even if he was the best player in college football last season.
When is the 2018 NFL Draft?
The 2018 NFL is two weeks away. The first round will begin April 26, while the second and third rounds will come April 27 and the last four rounds on April 28.
The NFL Draft will be held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Mayfield was reportedly pressured into attending the draft, but he’ll be in Austin, Texas, to watch the event with his family and friends.
