Ikard was a bona-fide star at Oklahoma. He was named first-team All-Big 12 in three consecutive seasons, and consensus All-American during his senior year.
He went undrafted, and was a journeyman in the NFL before his retirement. In all, Ikard spent time with the Cleveland Browns, the Tennessee Titans, the Buffalo Bills, the Detroit Lions, the Denver Broncos, and the New Orleans Saints. Most recently, he had signed a reserve/future contract with the Saints in January of 2018.
Ikard was 43-10 over the course of his four years on the field for the Sooners. He was also named an Academic All-American three times over the course of his career, and as a senior was the Academic All-American of the Year.
