Former Oklahoma receiver Jeff Badet is going to be very busy after an eye-opening pro day performance last week.
According to the Houston Chronicle’s Aaron Wilson, Badet has private workouts scheduled with the Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins and New York Jets this week in Norman. He will also have a pre-draft visit with the Minnesota Vikings next month.
Oklahoma and former Kentucky WR Jeff Badet (5-11 185) is working out for the Dolphins, Browns and Jets privately at school this week. 4.27 speed, 39.5 vertical, 10-11 broad and 16 bench reps. Set for pre-draft visit with Vikings in April.

Badet put on a show at Oklahoma’s pro day, running a faster 40-yard dash than any player at the NFL combine this year at 4.27 seconds. He also posted a 39 1/2-inch vertical, which would have tied for the fifth-best mark among all players at the combine, and a 10-foot, 11-inch broad jump, which would have been the fourth-best mark at the combine.
Those numbers will probably draw plenty of attention from NFL teams over the next month before the draft. Before his pro day, he was projected to be an undrafted free agent. That may still be the case, but that performance certainly seems to be generating more interest in him as a prospect.
Badet caught 26 passes for 400 yards and 3 touchdowns as a graduate transfer for Oklahoma in 2017. He had 31 receptions for 670 yards and 4 touchdowns at Kentucky in 2016.
The 2018 NFL Draft starts Thursday, April 26, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
