Baker Mayfield is having quite the time exploring New York City one day ahead of the Heisman Trophy presentation ceremony — even if he can’t quite figure out the subway turnstiles.
Mayfield found his way to lower Manhattan on Friday afternoon as he toured all that the Big Apple has to offer. And no visit would be complete without a stop by Wall Street.
Of course, one statue in the heart of downtown didn’t quite sit well with the Sooners quarterback — at least when it comes to Big 12 mascots.
That didn’t stop Mayfield from posing with the famed “Charging Bull” statue — with a little shade thrown at the University of Texas while he was at it.

I mean it does look like Bevo from afar, doesn’t it?
It’s good to see that Mayfield is having a little fun after working so hard on the field for Oklahoma week in and week out this season. Now, Sooners fans can only hope that Mayfield captures the team’s first Heisman Trophy since 2008, and possibly more by the time January rolls around.
The Heisman Trophy presentation ceremony will air on ESPN at 7 p.m. CT on Saturday, Dec. 9.
