Oklahoma kicker Austin Seibert is currently not enrolled at the university, according to The Oklahoman’s Brooke Pryor, but he’s expected to be back soon.
Seibert is the Sooners’ top placekicker and punter. Since he isn’t enrolled, he can’t practice with the football team. According toPryor, Seibert is expected to be enrolled again for the fall semester. That means he would be eligible to play for the Sooners this season.
Oklahoma has six other kickers listed on its preseason roster. None of them have kicked or punted in a game for the Sooners.
Seibert was 11-of-16 on field goals last season. He is on the Ray Guy Award watch list after averaging 41.1 yards per punt last season.
