If you plan on making your way to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas later this month for the 2018 NFL Draft, don’t expect to run into any Oklahoma draft prospects at the event.
The NFL released a full list of draft prospects on Thursday that will be in attendance for the event. Of the 22 players on the list, no Sooners were to be found.

Oklahoma quarterback and 2017 Heisman winner Baker Mayfield made it clear a while ago that he wouldn’t be in attendance for the NFL Draft. Mayfield told reporters at the the Davey O’Brien Award ceremony in February that he will watch the draft with his family in Austin, Texas.
Other Oklahoma draft prospects include tight end Mark Andrews, defensive end Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, tackle Orlando Brown and safety Steven Parker — none of which were to be found on the list of attendees.
And with that, those who hoped to see any Sooners walk onto the stage when their name is called this spring will have to wait another year.
The NFL Draft will take place from April 26-28. This year marks the first time that the event has ever been held at an NFL stadium.
