The 2019 Oklahoma recruiting class added its first commit on Friday with 4-star tight end Austin Stogner.
The 6-foot-6 prospect from Plano (Texas) Prestonwood Christian announced his decision on Twitter. He’s ranked as the No. 79 player in the country and the No. 5 tight end for 2019, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Stogner is the fourth new commit for the Sooners since new head coach Lincoln Riley took over for Bob Stoops, who retired in early June.
His decision came days after he and his family visited Norman on June 19.

Stogner caught 11 passes last season for 273 yards and 5 touchdowns, according to MaxPreps.
The tight end also has offers from Alabama, Florida, Texas and Texas A&M, among others.
