Oklahoma football will face FCS foe Missouri State in 2020, according to FBSchedules.com.
No game time is set yet, but FBSchedules.com reports the nonconference clash will be in Norman, Okla., on Sept. 5, 2020. Oklahoma will reportedly pay Missouri State $600,000 for the contest.
Missouri State, who is a member of the Missouri Valley Conference, likely rounds out Oklahoma’s 2020 nonconference slate. The Sooners are also tabbed to play Tennessee and at Army that season.
This will be the first meeting between the programs.
The Sooners haven’t played an FCS opponent since beating Florida A&M 69-13 on Sept. 8, 2012. Oklahoma’s meeting with Missouri State in 2020 will mark the second-consecutive year the Sooners will face an FCS opponent after playing South Dakota in 2019.
The addition of Missouri State will give the Sooners six games at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
