Oklahoma running back Trey Sermon was helped off the field after suffering a leg injury in the Sooners’ spring game Saturday.
Sermon’s right leg was injured, and he was helped to the locker room. According to ESPN’s Jake Trotter, the running back could not put weight on the leg.

Sermon, who will be a sophomore in the 2018 season, averaged 6.1 yards a carry in his freshman season. He totaled 744 yards on 121 carries and scored 5 touchdowns. He is expected to be part of a stellar backfield alongside Rodney Anderson and a host of other talented Oklahoma backs.
