Dede Westbrook burned plenty of cornerbacks as a wide receiver for the Oklahoma Sooners, and he’s burning even more in the NFL.
In his first preseason game with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Westbrook caught a pass from Brandon Allen in the end zone for a 42-yard touchdown. He was five yards clear of his defender when he caught the pass.
Dede is speedy.

Westbrook had an outstanding career at Oklahoma, earning the school’s first Biletnikoff Award for the nation’s best wide receiver in 2016. He finished fourth in the Heisman Trophy voting.
Westbrook was selected in the fourth round of the 2017 draft as the 110th pick by the Jaguars.
He’s listed as the fourth choice on the depth chart for the wide receiver position on the official Jacksonville website.
Catches like this, however, might give him a chance to make a name for himself on his new team.
