Luke Heimlich’s stretch of dominance earned him consecutive Pac-12 Pitcher of the Year honors.

Heimlich was named the College Baseball Foundation’s National Pitcher of the Year on Wednesday after racking up a nation’s-best 16 wins and school-record 151 strikeouts.

The 2018 Pac-12 Pitcher of the Year has a 2.32 ERA through 17 starts. There’s also this from the school’s official press release on the award:
Heimlich has allowed just 91 hits in 120 1/3 innings, holding opponents to a .211 batting average. He has recorded quality starts in 16 of his 17 starts.
Heimlich’s Beavers (49-10-1) begin College World Series play Saturday against North Carolina in Omaha, Neb.
