The climb from the bottom for Oregon State isn’t going to be easy, but at least the Beavers will get to face some quality competition on their journey.
Mark your calendars, OSU fans, for Sept. 12, 2026. That’s when Texas Tech will be coming to Corvallis as part of a home-and-home football series announced Thursday.
Beavs add another Power 5 Conference home-and-home future series matchup; Texas Tech will appear on the slate in 2025 and '26. The Red Raiders join Oklahoma State and Purdue as future non-Pac-12 Power 5 opponents. #GoBeavs https://t.co/BxAFhVFFB9 pic.twitter.com/0jZnfqkdy0

The Beavers will play at Texas Tech in September 2025 before getting the return game at home. The Red Raiders will be the third different power-conference opponent to come to Corvallis in the coming years, along with Oklahoma State (2019) and Purdue (2024).
Oregon State and Texas Tech have met once before, in 1959 when the Beavers lost 15-14. They are 9-12 all-time against current Big 12 schools.
