Sam Gaviglio, an alum of the Oregon State Beavers baseball program, is headed back to The Show as the Toronto Blue Jays have called up the right-handed pitcher to their 25-man roster.

The move comes as a result of Toronto placing Marcus Strohman on the disabled list.

Gaviglio has had an impressive year so far with the Buffalo Bisons, maintaining a 1.86 ERA over 29 starts with as many strikeouts.

Over 16 appearances and 13 starts in the majors with the Seattle Mariners and the Kansas City Royals, Gaviglio has posted a 4-5 record with a 4.36 ERA.
