The Oregon State Beavers have a plethora of questions entering the 2018 season. There are low expectations in Corvallis. That’s what happens when you fail to beat an FBS opponent in the year prior.
Coach coach Jonathan Smith has his hands full trying to improve a 1-11 team. What is the biggest area for the Beavers to work on? ESPN says everything.
“The Beavers didn’t beat an FBS opponent last year and were routinely blown out. Coming off that type of season, the need for improvement extends to just about every part of the program and their expectations will be the lowest in the Pac-12.”
That good news for Oregon State is that a team can’t get much worse than 1-11. We’ll then again, the team could go 0-12. A winless season will likely result in full sale changes to the coaching staff.
Oregon State isn’t easing into the college football season. The Beavers travel to Ohio State in Week 1.
