Will Richardson narrowed his school choices down to 3, and he’s signed his letter of intent. On Thursday, he’ll announce where he’s headed.
Richardson, a 6-foot-4, 170-pound guard from Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) is down to Georgia, Gonzaga and Oregon. The Ducks appear to hold the advantage. 247Sports, which rates Richardson as the 34th-best player, has Oregon owning a 90 percent chance to land Richardson.
Richardson originally was going to wait to decide until the spring, according to 247Sports’ Evan Daniels. Should Richardson sign with Oregon, he’d be the third member of the Ducks’ 2018 class.
Richardson also had offers from two other Pac-12 schools: Arizona State and USC.
Rivals recruiting writer Dan McDonald first broke the news of Richardson’s impending decision.
