Oregon’s 2019 recruiting class, which is on the cusp of the top 10 nationally, already has commitments from players in four different states. Oklahoma could end up joining that list based on a 4-star wide receiver’s inclusion of the Ducks among his top school choices.

Demariyon Houston, a 6-foot, 165-pound receiver from Oklahoma City, is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 180 player in the country for 2019. He’s the 28th-best wideout and No. 2 prospect from Oklahoma, a state that traditionally keeps its best players in the state or sends them to other Big 12 schools.
However, only Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas fit that criteria in Houston’s top 7.
Oregon is considered a longshot to get Houston, whom it offered on May 8.
