Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert is regarded as one of the best pro prospects at his position and could declare for the 2019 NFL Draft after his junior season. NFL.com scouted the Ducks quarterback.
“Herbert has an outstanding skill set, but he’s very raw at this point,” NFL.com’s Daniel Jeremiah said. “There is a lot of development still ahead, but the upside is tremendous.”
Herbert is one of the main reasons why many predict Oregon could rise to the top of the Pac-12 in 2018. The junior quarterback will be the focal point of the offense, with Oregon’s all-time leading rusher, Royce Freeman, gone. But the 6-foot-6 quarterback has the tools to be on the short list of the best college quarterbacks in the country.
In his Oregon career, Herbert has passed for 3,919 yards, 34 touchdowns and 9 interceptions.
