Senior linebacker Fotu Leiato, who was arrested in April after allegedly removing a parking boot from his vehicle, has been dismissed from Oregon’s football program.
According to Matt Prehm of DuckTerritory.com, Leiato was removed from the team on April 26, one day after he was arrested on charges of theft, criminal trespassing, and criminal mischief. The charges stemmed from his removal of a parking boot as well as failure to appear in court for a previous incident after he allegedly didn’t pay his bus fare.
The 5-foot-11, 198-pound Leiato appeared in 38 games for Oregon in three seasons. He had 14 tackles, one for loss, in 13 games in 2017 as a junior.
