On Friday evening, the Oregon football team received a commitment from Jaron Waters, the first wide receiver to join the Ducks’ Class of 2019.

Waters is a 3-star recruit ranked No. 97 for his position. A native of Oxnard, Calif., Waters boasted an extensive offer sheet that included Arizona State, Michigan, Utah and Washington State among others.
The Ducks have the No. 10-ranked recruiting class for 2019, which includes six 4-star recruits.
