Oregon’s memorable season didn’t end with a national title, but the Ducks’ efforts haven’t gone unnoticed.
Oregon coach Mike White and his staff were named the NFCA Div. I Pacific Region Coaching Staff of the Year, the school announced Thursday.

White’s Ducks made the program’s sixth trip to the Women’s College World Series in its history (fifth under White), won its fifth Pac-12 title and earned a national No. 1 seed thanks to its strong regular season. Four of White’s players were named NFCA All-Americans: Megan Kleist and Gwen Svekis (first team), and Miranda Elish and Jenna Lilley (third team). Three of his players — Lilley, Svekis and transfer addition DJ Sanders — were also selected in the 2018 NPF College Draft.
The Ducks, who finished 53-10 (21-3 in Pac-12), fell to eventual national champion Florida State.
