The Pac-12 champion Oregon Ducks (47-7) have earned the No. 1 overall seed in the 2018 NCAA tournament, and with that the Ducks will host a regional beginning Thursday, May 17 in Eugene.
Oregon will open the double-elimination tournament against America East champion Albany while BYU and Drake will meet in the other first-round game. The regional final is set for Saturday, May 19.

Overall, seven Pac-12 schools made the 2018 tourney field with five set to host regionals.
The Ducks secured the outright Pac-12 title on the final game of the regular season on Saturday when they beat Cal 2-0.

Oregon has been one of the best teams in the nation in 2018 and looks poised to make a run at the Women’s College World Series title.
In addition to being crowned Pac-12 champions, the Ducks also have wins over the likes of Oklahoma State, LSU, Florida State and reigning national champion Oklahoma.
The Ducks have one of the best 3-headed monsters platooning the circle in the nation.
Led by Megan Kleist (20-5, 0.96 ERA), the Oregon’s pitching staff boasts a 1.12 ERA and has limited opponents to a .173 batting average.
At the plate, Oregon is batting .322 as a team with 70 home runs. Haley Cruse leads the Ducks in batting average (.379) while Gwen Svekis leads Oregon with 53 RBI and 16 home runs.
All four teams in the Eugene Region finished season very strong. Ducks have won 13 straight, Drake 20 of 21, BYU 13 of 14 and Albany 12 of 13. A field of teams playing best ball at right time.

If the Ducks win their regional they will host a Super Regional, likely against No. 16 seed Kentucky
