The Oakland Raiders signed guard Cameron Hunt on Thursday, according to Pro Football Talk.
Hunt was not drafted out of Oregon in 2017 and failed to make Denver Broncos roster out of camp last season. He spent part of the 2017 season on the San Francisco 49ers’ practice squad.
He played in 52 games during his time at Oregon and started right guard and right tackle during his career.
Hunt is not expected to start for the Raiders, but will compete for a spot on the roster. His versatility on the right side of the offensive line could be of value to Oakland, however, the team did draft two offensive lineman in the 2018 NFL Draft: first-rounder Kolton Miller and third-rounder Brandon Parker.
