The 5-foot-11, 190-pound Jones is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 85 player in the 2019 recruiting class as well as the sixth-best running back and No. 16 prospect from California. He is coming off a junior season in which he ran for 1,560 yards and 23 touchdowns for national powerhouse Bishop O’Dowd.
Jones is Stanford’s fourth commitment for 2019, all of whom are ranked in the top 300 nationally.
