The Pac-12 announced on Wednesday that the conference’s football media day will take place on July 25, 2018 in Los Angeles at the Hollywood and Highland complex.

Last year’s event took place at the same location, but was held over two days. The conference has eliminated that format and the event will all take place on one day.

The Pac-12’s approach to media day is very different than other conferences, which have attempted to make it an event. The SEC, for example, heads to Atlanta for almost a week.

In a sharp contrast to the SEC taking up basically an entire week in Atlanta for media days, the Pac-12 is having a singular media day this year in Hollywood.

Each school will send its head coach and two players to the event.
