Former Stanford guard Robert Cartwright has found a new home, one that’s only a few hundred miles down the California coast from where he’d spent the past four seasons
Cartwright is headed to UC-Irvine, where as a graduate transfer he’ll be immediately eligible to play.

The 6-foot-2 Cartwright averaged 4.7 points, 1.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game for the Cardinal last season, starting six games. He started 19 games in his career, most notably a January 2017 start against Washington State when he scored a career-best 21 points (with 5 three-pointers) along with 4 rebounds and 7 assists.
