Stanford sophomore right-handed relief pitcher Jack Little was named first-team All-America by Baseball America on Thursday.
Little, a Las Vegas native, led the Pac-12 with 15 saves during the 2018 season. He had a 0.66 ERA in 41 innings across 23 appearances. He held opposing batters to a .170 average with 54 strikeouts against just seven walks.

Little helped the Cardinal clinch its first conference championship since 2004 after retiring the final six batters against Washington last Saturday in Stanford’s 6-5 victory.
Stanford is the No. 2 overall seed in the NCAA tournament and will host a regional starting on June 1. The other three teams in Stanford’s regional are Baylor, Cal State Fullerton and Wright State.
