A strong freshman season has put Daejon Davis on the radar for NBA scouts in the near future, meaning another big year in 2018-19 and he could be leaving Stanford early for the pros.
With that possibility in mind, the Cardinal have been pushing hard to land a point guard in the 2019 recruiting class, and they appear to have found their guy in 4-star Minnesota product Tyrell Terry.

The 6-foot-1, 160-pound Terry picked Stanford over offers from 11 other schools including Baylor, Indiana, Iowa State, Minnesota and Xavier. From Minneapolis, he is ranked as the No. 81 player in the 2019 class as well as the seventh-best point guard and No. 2 prospect from Minnesota, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
Terry is Stanford’s first commitment for 2019. The Cardinal signed four players in the 2018 class, which ranks No. 28 nationally.
