Rangy forward Robert Braswell has committed to the Syracuse Orange, according to Evan Daniels of 247Sports. Braswell, a 2018 prospect, is considered a 3-star recruit.
Why Braswell committed to Syracuse, from Daniels’ story:
“Syracuse because it’s a great place,” Braswell said. “It’s a great family. Almost all the coaches have played for coach [Jim] Boeheim, so it has a really good family feeling. They have a great team and a great campus. I think it’s a all around good place.”
Daniels provided a brief scouting report on Braswell here:
Very intrigued by Robert Braswell. Long, mobile, athletic & has a lot of potential as a shooter at 6-9. https://t.co/XTI90dNrcj

Braswell seems like a late bloomer, but if he can check that many boxes, perhaps he can become a key player for the Orange. Jim Boeheim loves length in his zone, and if Braswell can knock down 3-pointers, the potential is obvious.
