Shawn Robinson became the first true freshman quarterback to start for TCU in 18 years Saturday. Needless to say, Robinson made a splash quickly, rushing for 68 yards on TCU’s opening drive.
Fans and media members were impressed by the first half of Robinson’s debut in which he recorded 73 rushing yards

TCU led Texas Tech 10-3 at halftime. The Horned Frogs outgained Texas Tech 122-116 in total offense. Robinson finished the half with 20 passing yards.
