Class of 2018 running back prospect Ta’Zhawn Henry is staying in his home state as Henry announced his commitment to TCU during a broadcast on KTRK-TV – Houston’s ABC affiliate – on Tuesday.

Henry, a Houston native and a 3-star prospect per 247Sports composite rankings, had narrowed his choices down to TCU and Iowa State before announcing his decision. Henry received offers from 24 schools during his recruitment, including Baylor, Kansas and Kansas State.
Henry’s commitment to the Horned Frogs made him the 17th player to join the 2018 TCU recruiting class, which entered Tuesday ranked No. 21 in the nation and No. 3 in the Big 12 Conference, according to 247Sports.
At 5-foot-8 and 175 pounds, Henry is rated the No. 129 player in the state of Texas among the 2018 class, per 247Sports. You can view his highlights from Lamar High School below.
