TCU will field a Big 12-high dozen players who have received an undergraduate degree and are continuing their educations in 2017, according to the National Football Foundation.
Including NCAA and NAIA schools, 969 players on college football rosters have graduated entering this season, according to the NFF. From the 124 FBS schools alone, 720 players have earned degree .
Behind TCU in the Big 12 is Kansas State, which touts 11 players with undergraduate degrees, and Texas Tech and West Virginia with 10. Northwestern leads all FBS programs with 18 players who have graduated.
