The 2018 TCU recruiting class added a major piece with Sumner (Wash.) Senior linebacker Ben Wilson.
The 6-foot-2 prospect announced his commitment to the Horned Frogs on Friday. He chose TCU over offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Louisville, Utah and Vanderbilt, among others.

Wilson told the Tacoma News Tribune’s TJ Cotterill that he chose the Frogs because of the small campus, which reminded him of the environment at Sumner Senior.

It’s the 12th commit for the Frogs for 2018, and their seventh commit since May 31. Wilson’s commitment pushed TCU’s class up to No. 18 overall in the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Wilson is fifth-ranked player in the state of Washington and the No. 21-ranked inside linebacker in the country.
