The 2018 TCU recruiting class landed yet another Louisiana prospect Friday night in West Feliciana corner Derius Davis.
Davis chose the Horned Frogs over offers from Army, Kansas State and Tennessee, among others. He is TCU’s 14th commit for the 2018 class.

The 3-star defensive back is the fifth Louisiana recruit to choose TCU this summer, and the fourth since the commitment of 4-star quarterback Justin Rogers.
The Frogs have recruited the state heavily in this class, going after top prospects such as Terrace Marshall Jr. and Ja’Marr Chase. They’re also in the final two with Alabama for star tailback Slade Bolden from West Monroe. Bolden is expected to announce his decision next week.
Davis is the 56th-ranked recruit in Louisiana for 2018, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He is the No. 108 overall cornerback in the country.
