The No. 4 Horned Frogs are going all out in paying tribute to TCU-great LaDainian Tomlinson during the team’s homecoming game against Kansas on Saturday.
According to a Twitter post from TCU football, the Horned Frogs will sport “Congrats LT” helmet stickers on Saturday honoring the former All-American running back who was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame earlier this year.

Tomlinson — who played at TCU from 1997 to 2000 — will be honored during the homecoming game in Fort Worth. The recent Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee set multiple TCU rushing feats before enjoying an 11-season NFL career — the majority with the San Diego Chargers.
Tomlinson set an NCAA record of 406 rushing yards in a single game against UTEP in 1999, though it was eclipsed by former Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon and then former Oklahoma running back Samaje Perine within less than a month during the 2014 season. Tomlinson finished his senior season in 2000 with an NCAA-best 2,158 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns.
Kickoff for the TCU-Kansas game is set for 7 p.m. CT at Amon G. Carter Stadium on Saturday. The Horned Frogs currently sit as 39-point favorites over the Jayhawks.
