TCU tennis has been one of the most consistent programs in the country over the last few years, and the Horned Frogs men’s team ais having another successful season in 2018.
On Sunday, TCU beat Oregon in a 4-0 sweep to advance to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament for the fourth consecutive year. This is only the third time in school history that the Horned Frogs have made four straight Sweet 16s.
TCU has had to overcome the loss of Cameron Norrie, who turned pro before the NCAA Tournament last season after winning every Big 12 match he participated in. Behind players like Alex Rybakov and Guillermo Nuñez, the Horned Frogs have beaten the odds and advanced to the second week of the tournament. The Frogs are coached by David Roditi, who played at TCU from 1993-1996.
Next week, TCU will play Illinois in the Sweet 16.
