ESPN crews have set foot on TCU’s campus ahead of the College GameDay’s Week 6 broadcast from Fort Worth.
TCU Football released a video on Thursday of crew members assembling the iconic College GameDay set in the middle of the TCU campus commons – giving college football fans a sneak-peek of what they’ll be seeing on their TV screens Saturday morning.

The background view will be the opposite of what was seen during College GameDay’s 2009 visit to TCU, as cameras will be facing the west end of the campus commons rather than the east.
ESPN’s decision to bring the show to the TCU-West Virginia game on Saturday marks just the second time that College GameDay has broadcasted from TCU’s campus. The show broadcasted at Sundance Square in downtown Fort Worth twice during the 2014 season and once in 2015, but all three instances were for neutral-site games at AT&T Stadium in nearby Arlington – none of which involved TCU.
This time, the Horned Frogs will be center stage.
The show will tape live from 8-11 a.m. CT on Oct. 7, but fans can enter the pit behind the set as early as midnight, according to a release from TCU.
