TCU football landed its third commitment of June on Thursday.
Broken Arrow (Okla.) linebacker Zach Marcheselli verbally committed to the Horned Frogs a week after receiving his TCU offer.
“First I would like to thank God for this opportunity because without him this wouldn’t be possible,” Marcheselli wrote in a tweet. “I would like to thank my family and coaches for grooming me into the man and player that I am today and for helping me with my decision. With that being said I am excited to announce that I am committed to Texas Christian University.”

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker chose TCU over offers from Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas State, Nebraska, Missouri and Texas Tech.
Marcheselli is a 3-star prospect, according to the 247Sports composite. He ranks as the No. 50 prospect at his position and the No. 8 prospect from Oklahoma.
Marcheselli is the first Frogs commit since Wichita Falls, Texas, product Daimarqua Foster committed on June 8. Jacksonville, Texas, safety Deshawn McCuin committed on June 5.
TCU’s 2019 class ranks third in the Big 12 and No. 19 in the country.
