FRISCO, Texas — Jah’Shawn Johnson decided to make Big 12 Media Days a bit more interesting.
Johnson has heard many of the same questions throughout his football career. It led him to create a game, clicking off after interactions with interviewers at Big 12 media days.
The junior defensive back has a good sense of humor, as his shown by his bingo card.

He had five across on a couple of his rows.
Clearly, experienced players with earlier starts can expect to be queried on his leadership abilities.
Mention of “earning the Double T” is a reference to Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury withholding the team’s logo from his players’ helmets during the offseason. Tech’s defensive struggles prompts questions after the Red Raiders ranked 100th or worse in seven defensive categories last season.
Expected questions lead to quick BINGO cards
By the middle of his media session, 12 of his 24 bingo squares had been crossed out.
“We got together and came up with a few questions we thought the media would ask us, so I did bingo earlier … I have a bunch that I can mark out now,” Johnson told USA Today’s Dan Wolken. “It’s been fun.”
And maybe he’s providing a template other college football players can use to combat their media-day activities the next few weeks.
